first_imgErema FC has launched an appeal to the NSL Board which has now force a delay in the competition for this weekend’s games.NSL Deputy Chairman Dan Kakaraya advised that owing to the appeal, the board has determined that the outcome to the request will have a bearing on the draw.“The nature of the appeal is yet to be disclosed as discussions on the subject is yet to be discussed with the franchise club,” Kakaraya said.Adding that, the NSL board will convene with the franchised party and media to clear the air on the matter of the delay.Moreover, the competition has been put off to another week pending the decision of amending the draw.“Unfortunately the appeal has caused that but the NSL board has secured the outcome as we want to give the party the right to a fair hearing,” he explained.The Deputy Chairman also apologised to the franchised owners and the stakeholders for the delay and urged that the delay will only be for one week.last_img
