first_imgGreencastle Regatta and Greencastle Community Centre have announced the appearance of Louis Walsh’s new boy band ‘HomeTown’ in the Community Centre on August 2nd as part of this year’s Regatta and Festival. The confirmation of this gig is somewhat of a coup for both committees as it occurs on the weekend their new single will be released in the UK charts and it is the band’s only confirmed Donegal gig.The Regatta committee have built up a good network of contacts in the showbiz sector and it was through one of these contacts that they were offered first refusal on the band. HomeTown have already had two number 1 singles in the Irish charts and are well on their way to becoming the next big boy band, with manager Louis Walsh in charge they have every chance of emulating the likes of Boyzone and Westlife. The chance to watch them in a setting which will allow the audience to be up close and personal may not come around again if their success takes off.Louis Walsh may be with them on the night.Shane Skelly and Lauren Harkin (Off Chance) and the very popular Spring Tides will be the support acts for HomeTown on the night. Excitement is building since the official announcement of the concert and people queued for tickets on the first day of sale, the gig will be all seated and admission by ticket only.Tickets are now on sale in the Community Centre and other outlets, contact the Community Centre for more information on 074 93 81054. BOYBAND ‘HOMETOWN’ TO PLAY INISHOWEN GIG was last modified: July 6th, 2015 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:boybandGreencastlehometownlast_img read more
