Heiselman. “We are particularly pleased to feature several judicial candidates. It is often challenging to learn more about these particular races so this event gives our attendees the chance to engage with candidates on a one-on-one basis to help make informed decisions.” Please enter your comment! The Hob Nob format is essentially a trade show for candidates… allowing attendees to engage one-on-one with the candidates and business exhibitors. There are no formal speeches, forums or debates, but there will be a straw poll taken with the winners announced at the end of the evening by Chamber Board Chairman Jeff Welch.Heiselman believes a good showing in the Straw Poll could springboard a candidate to victory in August or November.“This is the first political Hob Nob in our region. A win helps a candidate to drive momentum as they head into the rest of the campaign season.” I know this article will be looked over. Here is one suggestion for the LANGD Gas Board: Why don’t you all make a suggestion for a earlier meeting time? 10:00 pm until 11:00 pm? Kind of late night meeting, isn’t it? Most people are heading to bed, to go to sleep at that time! I am certain that is what I saw posted on the city website. Maybe I was dreaming, I don’t know????I am starting to see some campaign signs going up. I am looking for campaign signs posted on government property again! LOL! Beware! That is, unless it is a judge’s campaign sign. Or sheriff, or prosecutor……..LOL!!!Interesting article in the Orlando Sentinel today that made front page headlines about the Highland Manor…….great write up!
